Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how Accounts Advantage Pty Ltd trading as MILLIONS collects, holds, uses, and discloses personal information when you use our website, app, AI-assisted analysis tools, billing services, support channels, and related products.

1. Who we are

`Accounts Advantage Pty Ltd` trading as `MILLIONS` (`we`, `us`, `our`) provides software and analytics tools that help users organise timesheets, upload financial records, and generate business insights.

2. What we collect

We may collect:

  • identity and contact details, including name, email address, business name, and account profile data
  • login, authentication, session, and security information
  • timesheets, work logs, business notes, projects, categories, and related operational records
  • uploaded financial files, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, general ledger records, aged payables, aged receivables, and similar records
  • billing and subscription information, including payment status, plan level, invoices, and customer identifiers supplied by payment providers
  • device, browser, IP address, usage logs, feature interactions, and diagnostic information
  • support communications and feedback you send to us

3. How we collect information

We collect information directly from you when you create an account, sign in, upload files, enter timesheets, subscribe to a paid plan, connect to support, request password resets, or otherwise interact with the platform. We also collect information automatically through website and app usage, and may receive information from service providers or other people you authorise to act on your behalf.

4. Why we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • create and manage your account
  • authenticate access and secure the platform
  • process subscriptions, invoices, and payments
  • store and organise timesheets and uploaded financial records
  • generate dashboards, forecasts, summaries, alerts, and AI-assisted outputs
  • respond to support requests and service issues
  • improve platform performance, security, and reliability
  • detect fraud, misuse, or unauthorised access
  • comply with legal and regulatory obligations
  • send service, billing, legal, security, and account communications
  • send marketing where permitted by law and where you have not opted out

5. AI-assisted analysis

MILLIONS uses automated and AI-assisted processing to generate financial and operational insights from the data you provide. We design the service to ground outputs in your saved timesheets, uploaded financial documents, and deterministic analysis derived from them. Even so, outputs depend on the completeness and quality of the underlying data.

You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs are assistive only. They do not replace legal, tax, accounting, financial, or other regulated professional advice. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding whether to rely on them.

6. Who we may disclose information to

We may disclose information to:

  • our employees, contractors, and related entities
  • cloud hosting, database, storage, and infrastructure providers
  • payment processors and billing providers, including Stripe
  • email and communications providers
  • authentication and identity providers
  • analytics, logging, monitoring, automation, OCR, and document-processing providers
  • AI or machine-learning service providers used to generate, moderate, verify, or support outputs
  • professional advisers, insurers, auditors, and legal representatives
  • courts, regulators, law enforcement, or government bodies where required or authorised by law
  • other parties where you direct or authorise us to do so

7. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers may store or process information outside Australia. This may include infrastructure or service operations in countries such as the United States or other jurisdictions in which our vendors operate. By using the service, you acknowledge that overseas recipients may handle your information under laws that differ from Australian privacy laws.

8. Direct marketing

We may send marketing and promotional communications where permitted by law. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism in the message or by contacting us. Service, security, billing, and legal communications are not marketing and may still be sent where necessary.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. These steps may include encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive stored records, access controls, secrets management, authentication safeguards, logging, monitoring, and incident response measures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not guarantee that information will be secure in all circumstances.

10. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account continuity, preserve relevant business history, support forecasting and auditability, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our rights. We may delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably required.

11. Access and correction

You may request access to personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date information. We may need to verify your identity before responding and may decline access where permitted by law.

12. Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at privacy@millionspath.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

13. Third-party services

Our platform may integrate with or rely on third-party services. Their handling of personal information may be governed by their own privacy terms and policies. Where those providers process information on our behalf, we seek to use reasonable contractual and security controls.

14. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version applies from the date it is published on our website or in the app.
